Today at school I made a Harry Potter quiz considering its book week. I added a lot of different question. The score you need to win is 99999999.  You could join it here.

In this 2 weeks we were researching how climate change affects other places. I picked the Amazon rainforest to research about. Heres what I did:

Activity 11 for my term break activities I had to write as many words I can with the word Easter. It was pretty easy finding 3 letter word but it got harder when I got to 17 words so I thought I could stop there. My trick to getting 17 words are to take a word that you got and rearrange the letters a bit to make a new word. I’m pretty happy with the score I’ve gotten so comment if you think you beat 17 words.

Activity two was to make pancakes for my parents, I made banana pancakes. It is a very easy recipe you first add some all purpose flour into a bowl and set it aside for later. I then took 2 bananas and mashed it up then added some milk and egg then mix it very well, add the flour we set aside add if needed add some more milk. Then its done and you could pair it with some honey, jam or ice cream.

In the term break, I had some activities to do as part of  our autumn break activities and one of them were to explore Google arts and culture. In this activity I did Mice in the Museum. Mice in the Museum is about two mice going through the Museum looking at different paintings and explaining what it is about and who drew it. Here are some paintings I liked.

On Monday I had numeracy and we did prototec and I got 74% . We also started our tornado rubric.

On Tuseday We did some writing on our scary house story we worked on our personification and I finished the book I was reading called Space Boy. In epic I reached the 27th book of cat ninja.

On Wednesday we did simile and metaphor in our writing. Miss Rogers and Miss Bell gave us end of day jobs.

On Thursday it was very rainy so we ate lunch and morning inside.

Recently I have been studying about the history of Belfast and Christchurch. Here’s what I know:

Here is the history of  the Treaty of Waitangi:

1835

He Whakaputanga o te  Rangatirtanga o Nu Tireni is translated to The Declaration of Independence of the United Tribes.

• The first ever legal document declaring Maori had sovergnty of New Zealand.
• 34 rangatira and 1 British repreentative.
• Singed by Te Whakaminenga= Confederation of the United Tribes
• Maori saw the declaration guarntee it was their land.
• The British saw this as a step closer to having New Zealand.
• 5 years later it was overwritten with the treaty.

I have recently read a book called 156-Storey Treehouse  and it was a pretty good book. I really liked the different  stories and the funny parts time to time. I made a Google slide of what I thought of this book.
